AND THEN THERE WAS PASTA...
The past few days of the week has been me dreaming up lovely pasta; and I'm on the verge of cracking and heading to Pizza Uno immediately. Now all this pasta marlakey began when I bought the Top Gear F430 to F1 Ferrari special back issue. In it was this feature on the pasta place that Schumacher loves, and the pasta dish that he claims to be his favourite. Schumacher or not, the pictures of the lovely pasta topped with minced pork (yes, pork!) looked so incredibly delicious that had my mouth watering and brain refusing to settle for anything less savoury. Problem 1: it's 11:55pm. Problem 2: no one would be insane enough to impulsively follow me to have pasta. Problem 3: I should be thinking more about my unfinished assignments rather than pasta. And there's raceday tomorrow. The feeling I'm aiming for is to recreate or simulate the whole diner by the racetrack feeling of that italian restaurant. And more. But it seems that the powers that be in this country aren't trying to make this place head anywhere in the european direction of life..no matter how evolved the weather is.. So we'll just have to see what happens tomorrow. On to the news.

CLOTHES THAT MAKE THE MAN...
are generally sleek yet casual. Style is about being a really subtle loud. Blend in. Stand out.

STYLISH MUSIC.
After the whole musical phases I've put myself through the past month, while certain pop, dance and r&b music scream style, rock is not totally out of the picture. It's what kind of rock. Anything heavy has got to go. Maroon 5 hits the spot every time but the music is pretty passe. I would say something of soft rock with strong musical tunes and nothing incredibly overplayed on radio. Avoid anything on Hitz.fm like a plague. Popular music only means it's for the masses, and that in turn will classify you in the same group as the average teeny bopper which really isn't going to help your image. And please refrain from anything hip hop. The word street has no place in the definition of posh.

CLASSIC CHOICES.
A man can be defined by the choices he makes. A man that wears a suit to go to a coffee house shows sophistication. A man in a football jersey at a club does not. It's the small choices that make the difference.

TALKING THE TALK.
Essential in the whole style package is in the art of communication. Be conscious of your environment. Make it work for you. Be boastful yet modest. Be knowledgeable. Being smooth in integration of these elements is key. And things to avoid include : being a jackass, being overly excited, being lame, being overly modest, being overly obsessive, not having a personality.

COMPANY.
Depending on environment to environment, you'd have to choose your company wisely. Because asking your jackass friends to tone down at a exclusive dinner party can get horribly embarassing. Or go horribly wrong.

REMEMBER, STYLE IS NOT A REQUIREMENT.
It's an aquirement. It's true that style isn't a requirement for an individual. But then beautiful cars and women aren't as well. Think about it. On that bombshell, till next week!
