it's 5:43pm, and Aerosmith is playing. It's been three days since the alleged breakdown of my life. It's like T3 really. I couldn't stop judgement day; it was already meant to happen; and boy, did it. Exam results proved that whatever hard work has been indeed valued by the college like food gone bad, and if that wasn't enough they want me to repeat the 3 (yes, three) failed modules this semester; so as to put me in my misery (to be exact, 4 months of misery). While I can harbour this as a chance to have a short break and be happy; I choose not to because I would be simply wasting time and money, and I'm not getting any younger. Now, that aside I'd like to address the past two sunday roadtrips. Now roadtrips have 'evolved' from the usual 45 minute hike up genting highlands to massive 8 hour drives which just consumes fuel, food and energy. This is all that 7 hour mistake's fault. Now every Sunday it's trips down to Lumut where a very very brilliant chicken maryland awaits. Not that I'm complaining; but it has come down to this to get what the road trip spirit really is. Everyone that used to jump on the bandwagon has suddenly called it quits besides Ian and we've replaced our geography boy for a map. It seems like we're exploring our local states and that should be a good thing right? Er...no. Like my exam results, they have transcended into what is a massive waste of time and money, and all for the equivalent of a fiesty pork chop. And yes, I'm not getting any younger. I'm now stuck in the middle of an uncertain future, as I definitely have had an uncertain past. I would like to say today, I'm going to make a change. And yes, I have gone through the whole planning stages. But let me tell you this, while there's a lot of nostalgia involved, the changes I'm planning to make will do precisely as much as a refridgerator trying to bake a cake; which really equates to nothing. So if you have any doubt about this, then tell me on Sunday, at that nice western place in Lumut. Because that's where I'll be.
